GABA -
Gamma Amino Butyric Acid.
Effects fat loss in a variety of ways. For example, GABA helps lower
blood glucose levels, which work to regulate your metabolism. Most
importantly, however, is GABA's role as a facilitator in the secretion
of the lipotropic (fat burning) substance HGH or Human Growth Hormone.
A non-essential amino acid found in high concentrations in the brain
and eyes. GABA is formed from glutamic acid with the aid of Vitamin
B6. Usually the brain is capable of producing sufficient GABA but
due to a variety of environmental or health reasons levels can drop.
The result can be anxiety, irritability, or insomnia. Low GABA levels
have also been associated with depression.*

Glucosamine
Glucosamine is a substance found naturally in the joints that stimulates
the formation and repair of cartilage that has degenerated over
time. The subject of many different clinical studies the past 20
years, Glucosamine has proven effective at reducing joint pain.
In one Portuguese study involving people with
osteoarthritis, 95% of participants experienced at least some benefit
when taking 1500 mg of glucosamine per day. Another recent study
seems to indicate that glucosamine slows the deterioration of cartilage
and relieves pain.
Glucosamine is considered safe with no adverse side effects.
