Caprylic Acid - A fatty acid
Caprylic Acid is a naturally occurring fatty acid. It is readily absorbed in the intestine and exhibits high fungicidal activity against yeast, especially candida. The exact mechanism by which it works is not fully known but researchers believe it dissolves the cell membrane of yeast.

Chondroitin
Chondroitin is a major component of cartilage. Chondroitin, found naturally in the body, works to protect the cartilage by blocking enzymes that seek to break down cartilage and by absorbing excess fluid in the connecting tissue. It also assists in cartilage repair. Many studies have been done on chondroitin supplements indicating that chondroitin supplements may be effective at reducing swelling and stiffness in the joints and may provide relief from the symptoms of osteoarthritis. Numerous other studies are currently underway.

CoCoenzyme Q 10, or CoQ10, - a biologically active quinone
An important antioxidant for maintaining a healthy cardiovascular system, CoCoenzyme Q 10 is used extensively in Canada, Europe, Japan and Russia to treat congestive heart failure (CHF). Some studies have shown it effective on as many as 70% of CHF patients. Researchers credit CoQ10’s effectiveness on its ability to improve energy production in cells, inhibit blood clot formation and act as an antioxidant.
CoQ10 properties are found in every cell of the body. It is a cofactor in the electron transport chain, the biological pathway in cellular respiration from which ATP and most of the body's energy are derived.
Deficiencies of coenzyme Q10 have been linked to periodontal disease, diabetes, and muscular dystrophy.
