What
is Shingles?
Commonly known as the herpes zoster virus, shingles is a late manifestation
of the chicken pox virus known as varicella zoster.

PHN (Post-Herpetic Neuralgia) occurs in most cases of shingles. It is a result of damage to the nerve fibers during the outbreak.
Neuralgia / PHN is normally felt in the same area as the outbreak and is extremely painful. Many people can get pain in other areas too.

I received my Heal Shingles in the 5th or 6th day of my shingles breakout on my upper left face and head. The outbreak was at its peak with itching, tingling and pain. I applied Heal Shingles every two hours and the itching and pain stopped almost immediately.
