Kegels - A Brief History
Kegels were introduced
to the mainstream by Dr. Arnold Kegels, an American gynaecologist.
Originally they were meant to help women strengthen her pelvic muscles
after childbirth. It became evident that the exercise had other
uses that would benefit men as well.
It might not sound
like something you'd be interested in. I mean, these exercises were
created for pregnant women and the elderly, so it couldn't possibly
have anything to do with you, a man in reasonable shape. But it
does. These simple exercises have the ability to improve sex exponentially,
increasing endurance and the strength and power of your orgasms.
This exercise can be done by anyone, and is the simplest way to
improve your sex life.
You might feel better
knowing that while Dr. Kegel brought the exercise to the forefront,
they're much older than that. Both the Taoists and Indian Yogis
had similar practices that have been around for hundreds of years.
Both these exercises were intended for sexual reasons, as well as
spiritual reasons - both these schools of thought believed that
the two were interconnected. Learning to strengthen the PC muscle
was also the foundation for male multiple orgasms, something that
is possible for you too once you master the exercise.
The PC Muscles
Kegels strengthen
the pubococcygeus muscles, also known as the PC muscles. This muscle
is located on the pelvic floor, from the anus to the urinary sphincter.
To find the PC muscles, stop urination midstream. The PC muscles
are the ones responsible for controlling this function.
How to Do a Kegel
Now that you know
what and where the PC muscles are, you're ready to begin. This exercise
is deceptively simple. No need for special exercise tools - while
there are some objects that help women with kegels, there are none
that have been proven to work for men. All you have to do is clench
the muscle, hold it, and then release. It's that easy. Begin by
holding for five seconds - do this in sets of five. Slowly, over
a matter of time increase to sets of ten. For maximum results do
these sets three times a day. The great thing is they can be done
anywhere - while you're sitting in your car or behind your desk,
or at home watching TV.
It's very important
not to over exert yourself. While you're impatient to speed up results,
pushing yourself too hard will only result in straining your muscles
and holding you back. You should see results in 4 to 6 weeks, so
just be patient.
If you're looking
for other ways to intensify your sexual pleasure, we recommend TRX,
a supplement made of herbs and plants that boosts your body's testosterone
supply. We're talking about a list of ingredients that have all
been used for hundreds of years as aphrodisiacs that work. Expect
harder erections and longer staying power, and a number of health
benefits like better mental alertness and stronger muscles.

Health Benefits of Orgasms
We all know by now
that orgasms are a great stress reliever. It builds up all the tension
in your body, only to release it in one go, zapping you of all energy
and making you want to sleep in bliss. But did you know there are
many other health benefits to orgasms and sex, benefits which only
until recently doctors and medical experts are discovering all the
time? Here are a few of the benefits that you may be able to get
from sex.
While you're extremely
relaxed in the afterglow following an orgasm, your heart races and
your blood pressure rises during the act. You sweat, and your breath
speeds up. It sounds like a workout at the gym, doesn't it? Well,
it's a workout in the comfort of your bedroom, or wherever else
it is that you and your partner like to do it. You can burn up to
100 calories an hour from vigorous sex, although this number varies
from person to person depending on their weight and overall health,
as well as things like physical exertion during sex. While 100 calories
an hour isn't enough that you should give up your gym membership,
it should be another incentive to hit the sheets.
So, sex and the ensuing
orgasm tends to put most of us in a pretty good mood, but now a
study is being conducted that links sex to alleviating depression.
Forget pain relievers
- try self-medicating with sex first. Sex releases endorphins, which
help manage pain. In fact, with sex it's possible to decrease pain
by up to 70%. Who wouldn't take this over acetaminophen? Sex can
also help relieve that migraine, even though for some people sex
triggers this kind of severe headache.
A recent study in
the British Medical Journal revealed that men who regularly engaged
in sex had a decreased mortality rate than those who didn't. Regular
is defined as twice a week, according to the study. As if there
wasn't enough incentive to have sex before! The study took 1000
Welsh men and kept track of them for a decade. They found that those
who had sex less than once a month were more likely to die than
those who had sex often. In fact, those men who had sex infrequently
were twice as likely to die as those who had frequent sex. Researchers
are still trying to determine why this is so.
More specifically,
research is being done to prove that sex can decrease chances of
certain types of cancer, such as prostate cancer, and heart disease.
Again, sex twice a week can improve your chance of survival.
So if you needed an
excuse to have sex before, you've got several reasons to now. While
you're at it, why not add a little something? Try TRX,
a supplement in capsule form that increases the testosterone that
slowly dwindles over the years. Side effect free, expect a supped-up
libido as well as more energy and better concentration, to name
just a few benefits.

Sex and Seniors
Stop me if you've
heard this one: An old man opens his front door to an escort hired
for his birthday. "Super sex! Super sex!" the blonde chants. "I'll
have the soup," answers the old man.
We've all heard jokes
about seniors and sex. But while we joke about it, it's far from
the truth. Men don't experience less sexual desire over the years,
despite the perception. But while their desire doesn't decrease,
some other aspects of sex do- for example, there may be difficulty
getting or maintaining an erection, or orgasms aren't as strong,
to name a few of the variety of concerns. More importantly, too
often there is a stigma around seniors having sex. But sex never
gets old, even if you do.
When Viagra hit the
market years ago, it seemed as if the flood gates opened. Suddenly
the world became aware that seniors are as much sexual beings as
anyone. The problem with prescription drugs like Viagra is that
the pill needs to be taken an hour before sexual intercourse.
You don't need to
rely on prescription drugs though, to reach your sexual peak. With
a little help from male supplements, as well as a few other helpful
hints that are mostly common sense, you can reach your sexual prime
again. Enjoy the best sex you've had in years, naturally.
Your health is probably
the biggest obstacle to overcome in a satisfying sex life. The American
Association of Retired Persons (AARP) conducted a study about seniors
and sexuality. The study, originally conducted in 1999 and updated
in 2004, states that "Twenty percent of all respondents report having
a chronic health problem that restricts their sexual activity, yet
an alarming number… say they are not getting treatment for it."
While deteriorating strength and health is almost inevitable in
old age, it's important to try to stay on top. Eat right and get
regular exercise. Your doctor can help you determine a diet and
exercise plan that is right for you.
Your doctor is an
invaluable resource. There are many ways in which a doctor can help,
such as if you have any physical limitations or pain that affects
sex, or options for treatment. Even just to talk to, as a sounding
board. Your medical practitioner may be able to answer any questions
you have, or can send you in the right direction. If you're uncomfortable
discussing sex with your doctor, then try to think if there is anyone
else that you would feel comfortable with having this sort of conversation.
Chances are if you've
read this far you're one of the many men exploring their options
in reaching their sexual prime. Maybe you've thought about trying
a male enhancement product, but were confused by all your options
out there. Which one is the genuine article in the sea of imitations?
We've had success with TRX,
which enhances testosterone. The amount of testosterone your body
produces diminishes over the years, affecting your energy level,
your mental alertness and your sexual drive. Boosting testosterone
with TRX
will surely increase your sexual libido, making you feel young again.
